A 1957 Grundig TK Tape Recorder

A 1957 Grundig TK Tape Recorder

Introduction
This is an account of thirty years use of sound recording devices and more recently sound editing software and how to use and distribute sound files. I then discuss the role of audio recordings in distance education langauge teaching. This is not a survey of all available equipment and software, but rather an individual case study, of what I have done and how I did it.

Grundig TK Tape Recorder
I vividly remember my father getting a Grundig reel to reel tape recorder, somewhat like this one, in the mid 1960s and it was on such a tape recorder I made my first sound recordings.
