Plane Does Not Take Off
from Gaya Airport
Gaya, 1 September (Dainik Jagran). After a long awaited delay even today a plane could not take off from Gaya airport. Due to technical problems and lack of information for the moment the work was halted again. Meanwhile the parks minister has appointed two new committees for Gaya airport.
Silence envelopes the airport which now has the status of an international airport. Whilst non-governmental sources said that it was to be fully operational from the first of September. People were waiting for this day but nothing has happened. According to the airport administration there had been no announcement of this type [that the airport would open on September the first:-PGF?].
Meanwhile on the other hand the parks minister has formed two committees for the airport. These committees will collaborate with the pilgrims and the airport officials. [a list of officials on the committees follows in the report]
