Direct flights between Gaya and Thailand
Samastipur, Bihar, June 21. (UNI): Direct flight services between Gaya and Thailand would start during the last week of September to boost tourism and attract Buddhist tourists to Bihar, Civil Aviation Minister, Sayed Shahnawaz Hussain, said today.

Hussain told newspersons here that his Ministry had taken a number of steps for making the aviation industry a catalyst for the State's economic growth.

Besides the construction of an air cargo complex here at a cost of Rs 10 crores, the Minister said the Centre had sanctioned various projects worth Rs 200 crores during the current fiscal for beautification and renovation of Muzaffarpur, Purnea, Gaya and Patna.
