Two arrested with ancient Statues
Bodhgaya, 30 March. Police arrested two people with ancient statues
near the Bodhgaya temple compound. Under the leadership of the Reservation
officer Madhusudan Bari and Police Superintendent S. K. Suman on the
28th of March the police raided an handicrafts centre near the temple
compound. Superintendent S. K. Suman reported that several ancient statues
and three cheetah skins were recovered from Suresh Sav and Anil Giri.
Cases were registered against both and they had been remanded in custody.
