Peaceful Celebrations of Holi
Bodh Gaya, 30 March. According to sources Holi, the festival of love and harmony was joyfully and peacefully celebrated in Bodhgaya. Minor incidents were reported from some places in the area. In village Chacha due to the lighting of the Holi bonfire the area was gripped by tension but after the authorities intervened peace was maintained. In Pacchati near to the Sujata bridge due to some hooligan elements ("shararati tattva") lit a Holi bonfire in a hotel which was built like a hut, due to which the hut burnt down.
